On winning in hard times, the power of scenario planning and why first wins really matter

Happy Partnership Wednesday!

Here are 3 ideas from me and 1 question for you to consider this week to create partnerships you never thought possible.

3 IDEAS FROM ME

I.

The answers to partnership uncertainty live in scenario planning.

II.

The first true test of a partnership is the time it takes to achieve the first win, a milestone that all parties can celebrate and more importantly sell back to their business to demonstrate the risk of entering the partnership was worthwhile. Fast-tracking first wins is Tactic 4 in my Partnerships Toolkit - available here.

III.

In uncertain economic times, business strategy is best viewed through a lens of how do we partner to grow? This increases the chance of executing on new opportunities in the short and long term (and lessens the risk and tendency to underestimate the time and cost of ‘doing it ourselves’).

1 QUESTION FOR YOU

What one action can you take today to lay the groundwork for a brilliant, new partnership in 2024?
