Vale Matt Kappler.

Yesterday many began coming to terms with the sudden passing of Matt Kappler, a dear friend, Australian Army special forces veteran and an MBA Candidate at the Australian Graduate School of Management.

I am saddened and shocked by Matt’s passing.

For those who didn’t have the immense fortune to meet or know Matt, here is how I characterised a man from whom I learned much.

Matt’s enthusiasm and ability to inspire greatness from others was unmistakable. He brought humour and a sense of purpose to everything he did from soldiering to his studies to advocating for better support for veterans. I consider it an honour to have called him my mate and I miss him dearly.
