Welcome to the Wednesday Perspective for 24 March 2021!

In a strange turn of events, I have been asked four times this week (and it’s only Wednesday!) why building an online community is essential to the progress of any organisation.

The context is that I’ve created two thriving communities in recent years that have surpassed all expectations. They are also in very different fields and continue to grow and evolve today.

There is a formula for building a great online community, one that offers a strong sense of belonging and value to its members while creating a host of unexpected opportunities.

Given the questions this week, I have decided to share that formula, what NOT to do, thoughts on community platform tech, and a list of lessons on a fun and interactive webinar on Thursday, 29 April at 7:30 pm AEST, and this email is a way to gauge your interest.

If you’d like to join me, shoot me an email and I’ll add you to this list!

Will it be super practical? Yes.

Will there be a recording? Yes.

Will there be snacks? Yes, and possibly wine.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Cheers, Phil
